Ah, the magnificent Chicago River. Near the turn of the century the Army Corp of Engineers reversed the flow of the river, considered at the time to be one of the engineering marvels of all time. This shot near Michigan Avenue shows bridges raised to let sailboats out into Lake Michigan. In the summer time there are lots of great little places to eat all along this part of the river.
